When
Camp Quality first introduced the Ride for Kids in 2011, I quickly jumped on
as a way to help raise awareness and some funds to repay this
organisation for their wonderful gift to us.
I
never bargained for the amazing experience of riding and working with an
amazing bunch of people, some who have never been involved in CQ before but
just wanted to help. The experience was so much better in 2012, and I
can't wait to do it again in 2013.

Last
year, I was part of the ride as a massage therapist with Eden, we had a ball
and were so inspired by the riders that this year I just wanna join in and
climb those hills!
Growing
up my best friend lost her nephew to cancer and I’ve met more people in life
who have been through a cancer journey. It just makes it even more appealing
to be able to make a difference in these kids lives, and what better way than
with LAUGHTER!!! Ha..Ha..Ha…. Bring it on!!!

My
wife MJ participated in the 2012 ride for Camp Quality as a support person
and I caught up with her and the rest of the crew at a few points as they got
closer to Newcastle and could see that they all were having a great trip and
enjoying themselves. It was amazing to see all those people, some
going through hardship, some not so much and it inspired me to do the same
and join the 2013 ride so that I can support such a wonderful cause for a lot
of not so lucky children and their families.

I was lucky enough to participate as a rider last
year and had the best time. My goal this year is to raise as much money as
possible for these inspirational children.

I have been lucky to be involved with Camp
Quality for over 12 years and have met some wonderful people in the process.
I am taking on this challenge to raise some funds & have some fun in the
process.
